1. Gizmodo’s Ultimate Black Friday 2010 Cheat Sheet Great stop if you’re seeking out electronics. They give you the deal, where it is, then tell you the regular price at that retailer and the best price elsewhere. Sample deal: 42″ Hitachi LCD 1080p HDTV for $498 at Sam’s Club (currently $896; $649 at Buy.com)
2. TheDealmap Search for deals, coupons and discounts where you live. It’s also have a free app for both iPhones and Android phones that will use your phone’s GPS to tell you which deals are nearest to your location. Sample deal: The Ace Hardware right up the street from me will have a Black & Decker 120 Piece Drilling And Screwdriving Set for $9.99.
3. For leaked Black Friday ads, check out BlackFriday2010.com. They also offer an iPhone app and email alerts. Sample deal: Amazon’s offering the Flip MinoHD 8GB Camcorder for $109.99, originally $229.99.
4. ConsumerWorld is a friend of ours (they often feature our stories) and have a great Black Friday tips page. Best tip? Use their the Price Checker to compare prices at many online stores instantly, DealAlerter.com to get notified when an item’s price drops and PriceHistories.com to compare today’s price for an item to what was charged over the past six months.
