Whole Foods Soup Recalled. See States Where It Was Sold

USA TODAY Network / Reuters

Soup sold by Whole Foods is being recalled due to an undeclared allergen, posing a risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if consumed.

On Thursday, May 21, manufacturer Kettle Cuisine announced a recall of Whole Foods Market Kitchen Minestrone Soup due to the possibility that it may contain shrimp not declared on the packaging, according to a notice posted on the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) website.

Customers who are allergic to crustacean shellfish, such as shrimp, and who consume the soup could experience an allergic reaction.
