Cheers to this: June is National Iced Tea Month and Saturday is National Iced Tea Day.

That means you have the opportunity to enjoy a cold one for free or at a discount now through the end of the month. And the deals are especially plentiful this weekend.

As always, consider calling ahead to confirm that a restaurant or retailer’s location near you is participating in these offers.

Starting Saturday, June 10, this restaurant chain known for its chicken and biscuits will offer its signature tea, Bojangles’ Legendary Iced Tea, for $1 all summer long at participating locations.

Bojangles’ has restaurants located in 11 states and Washington, D.C.

McAlister’s Deli

Mark your calendar for both June 10 and June 29 if you live near a McAlister’s Deli.

On Saturday, the first 20 people at each restaurant will score a free 32-ounce collectible reusable tea tumbler.

McAlister’s released this tumbler to kick off National Iced Tea Month. If you can’t get one for free on Saturday, you might want to buy one — they’re available at participating restaurants for $9.99 — because the tumbler entitles you to 99-cent refills for the life of the cup.

June 29 is McAlister’s annual Free Tea Day. Participating restaurants will be handing out free 32-ounce glasses of iced tea — sweet or unsweet, black or green — with no purchase necessary.

Visit McAlister’s website to search for a restaurant location.

Mighty Leaf Tea

This whole-leaf tea brand is offering 20 percent off select iced teas through 11:59 p.m. PT Monday, June 12. You can redeem this offer on Mighty Leaf’s website or by calling 877-698-5323, ext. 3. Use promo code ICEDTEA.

If you spend $75 or more, you’ll also score a free iced tea carafe with your order.

Visit Mighty Leaf’s “Iced Tea” webpage to scope out its iced tea products.

If you don’t mind sharing your mailing address, NESTEA will mail you a free coupon. It’s good for one iced tea in an 18.5- or 23-ounce bottle, or for $1.79 off any one iced tea in a half-liter six-pack or 24-pack.

Just don’t wait long to claim your coupon, as this offer expires June 19 or “when supplies are depleted” — whichever comes first. Also, the coupon expires July 31.

If you’re willing to join a demo of the Perfectea Maker at a participating Teavana store in the U.S. or Canada, you can walk away with a free 24-ounce Beach Bellini handcrafted iced tea. Note this freebie is available only from when stores open until 2 p.m. Saturday, and it’s a “while supplies last” offer.

Teavana describes its Beach Bellini tea as a customer favorite whose “notes of papaya, pineapple and citrus create a bright, tropical splash.”

Visit Teavana’s website for a list of store locations or to take advantage of the company’s online-only offer that’s available through Friday — 50 percent off any one tin or box of tea with the purchase of a second box or tin. Use promo code TEADAY.

Teavana stores are also offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal from 3 to 7 p.m. on Fridays throughout the summer. See “10 Sizzling Freebies You Can Grab in June” for details.
