A Bearista Cup Surprise Box Is Coming to Starbucks. How to Get One

Starbucks’ iconic Bearista cold cup is back, in several new iterations this holiday season.

On Monday, Oct. 26, Starbucks announced the launch of a new Bearista product: Bearista Glass Cold Cup Surprise Box. The limited-edition surprise box, or blind box, will offer one of several different designs, which customers will only know after opening the box. The boxes will be available at participating U.S. Starbucks locations early next month.

Starbucks first launched its Bearista Cold Cup in November 2025. The 20-ounce glass cup is shaped like a teddy bear with a green Starbucks stocking cap on its head. Available for about $30 last year, the cups sold out in less than a day. To ride the hype wave, Starbucks released a soccer-themed Bearista cup ahead of the World Cup in June and a pink Bearista cup in July.

The announcement of the Bearista blind box has received feedback on social media, with some expressing excitement while others voiced concern about the product’s availability.

“Ahhh this is exciting. I need them all!” an Instagram user commented on Starbucks’ post. “Releasing a new cup on my birthday! I better get one,” another user said.

Another wrote: “Do you really expect anyone to be excited about something they won’t be able to get their hands on??” “I don’t even get excited for fun launches anymore because social media and resellers make it way too difficult to get anything sometimes,” another commented.

Starbucks’ recent announcement was shared alongside the date of Starbucks’ annual Red Cup Day, when customers may receive a collectible, reusable holiday cup with the purchase of a holiday drink. This year’s Red Cup Day is Tuesday, Nov. 17.
