If you’re an Amazon Prime member who wishes your free, two-day delivery option was even quicker, you may be in luck. Amazon is expanding its free, same-day delivery service to 14 metro areas.

Same-day delivery will now be available to Prime members in the Tampa Bay and San Diego areas, as well as about 500 other cities and towns, according to Tech Times.

The free service requires a minimum $35 order of eligible same-day delivery items. There are about 1 million items that qualify. Orders must be placed before noon in order to be delivered by 9 p.m. Orders placed after noon will be delivered the following day.

If you’re a Prime member who wants same-day delivery but haven’t met the $35 minimum order, you can pony up $5.99 and get your items delivered the same day. Non-Prime members can get same-day delivery starting at $9.98 per order.

“We’ve made it simple to find the stuff that you want, and get it on your doorstep before bedtime,” Amazon's website states.

In addition to Tampa Bay and San Diego, Amazon offers same-day delivery to these metro areas: Atlanta, Seattle/Tacoma, Baltimore, Indianapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco (including Oakland), Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Boston, and Dallas/Fort Worth.

Faster delivery options from Amazon come as other retailers, including Walmart and eBay, begin testing unlimited free or cheap delivery.

For $99 per year, an Amazon Prime membership gets you free two-day delivery service on millions of items, streaming of movies and TV shows on Amazon Prime Instant Video, access to more than a million songs on Prime Music, unlimited Cloud photo storage, and access to the Kindle’s lending library. This is just one more attempt by Amazon to sweeten its pot of Prime offerings.
