Disney Cruise Line has revealed details about the Disney Believe, its next ship, including a new “Encanto” show, a Frozen-themed dinner and four- and five-night itineraries to the Bahamas and Caribbean.
The ship is scheduled to make its maiden voyage on Dec. 18, 2027. Bookings open to the general public on Oct. 19, 2026. Eligible members of the cruise line’s free Castaway Club can book as early as Oct. 12, depending on their status.
Where the Disney Believe Will Sail
The Believe will depart from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the current home port of its sister ship, the Disney Destiny. The Destiny is set to move to Port Canaveral next fall.
The new ship will offer four- and five-night trips to the Bahamas and Caribbean. Disney has two private islands in the Bahamas: Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Other ships are also changing locations next year. The Disney Wish is scheduled to sail to Europe for the first time and return to New York, where the cruise line last operated in 2023.
What to Expect on Board
The Believe will be the fourth ship in Disney’s Wish class. The cruise line announced earlier that Tinker Bell would adorn the bow, while Woody and Buzz Lightyear from “Toy Story” would appear on the stern. A statue of Moana will anchor the ship’s Grand Hall, which will draw inspiration from the Pacific Islands. Disney says a large chandelier there will echo ocean movement and hold the Heart of Te Fiti.
Shows and Dining
“Disney Encanto” will debut aboard the Believe. The ship will also have an updated version of “Tangled: The Musical,” along with “Disney Seas the Adventure,” an original show performed across Wish class ships. A mixed-use entertainment venue called Gazelle will draw on “Zootopia.”
A new dinner show, Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, will feature music from “Frozen.” Other dining options will include 1923, Worlds of Marvel, Marceline Market and Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods, which will offer a Pluto’s Pita Platter exclusive to the Believe.
Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement will be available for an additional fee outside the ship’s rotational dining. An Inside Out-inspired sweet shop will return, with expanded emotions from the franchise’s second film. Two new cafes will be themed around “Moana” and “Big Hero Six.”
Lounges and Other Amenities
The ship’s lounges will include Wishing Well, inspired by “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”; Sea Notes, a “Little Mermaid”-inspired piano bar; and Skygazers, an observatory-themed pub. The Believe will also have a Haunted Mansion Parlor and a “Beauty and the Beast”-inspired Rose lounge.
Returning Wish class features include the Aqua Mouse water slide, Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party, the Hero Zone sports area, two cinemas, the adults-only Quiet Cove, a spa and fitness center, and children’s spaces. The Oceaneer Club will have a new “Monsters, Inc.”-inspired exterior. The ship will also include a two-story Tower Suite inspired by Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
