Jimmy John’s newest limited-edition menu item packs a punch for pickle lovers.
The chain has brought back the “Picklewich” for a limited time for the third year in a row. The sandwich swaps the bread for a giant dill pickle.
But this year, Jimmy John’s is also offering a special souvenir with the sandwich. It has launched pickle plushie keychains, called Pickle Pals, that come with the “Picklewich” and pickle-flavored potato chips as a meal.
While the “Picklewich” and pickle-flavored chips returned to participating locations nationwide on Oct. 26, the plushies are now available as of Oct. 27.
How to Get the Jimmy John’s Pickle Plushies
The Pickle Pal plushies are only available with the purchase of a “Picklewich” meal, which Jimmy John’s calls the “Triple Pickle.” It comes with the sandwich, chips and one Pickle Pal.
There are five Pickle Pal characters to collect: Lulu, J.J., Big John, Vito and Tom.
Each plushie comes in a blind bag, so customers don’t know which Pickle Pal they have until they open it.
Is the Jimmy John’s Picklewich Back?
The Jimmy John’s “Picklewich” and pickle-flavored chips are back at participating Jimmy John’s locations nationwide as of Oct. 26.
The “Triple Pickle” meal, and therefore the special plushies, are available beginning Oct. 27.
But the items will only be around for a limited time. Jimmy John’s said the “Picklewich” will only be available until Nov. 23.
What’s on Jimmy John’s Pickle Menu?
Jimmy John’s “Picklewich” lineup allows customers to have their sandwich made in six different builds, with the meat, cheese and toppings sandwiched between a sliced pickle rather than bread. The build options include:
- Vito
- Turkey
- Ham
- Roast beef
- Tuna
- Veggie
