Krispy Kreme Debuts Coffee-Flavored Doughnuts for National Coffee Day

Krispy Kreme is celebrating National Coffee Day with a brand new doughnut flavor.

On Sept. 23, Krispy Kreme announced the debut of a new Original Glazed Coffee Flavored Doughnut, available for a limited time in honor of National Coffee Day on Sept. 29. The take on the Original Glazed Doughnut features a “smooth, creamy coffee flavor that is subtly bold and perfectly sweet,” according to a news release.

The coffee-flavored doughnut comes days after Krispy Kreme announced yet another new menu item to its Autumn Seasonal Collection: Churro Doughnut Dots, a “poppable, shareable treat” made with Krispy Kreme’s signature dough, tossed in cinnamon sugar and paired with a dulce de leche dipping sauce. Available for a limited time, each order includes eight dots and one small cup of dipping sauce.

Other items on Krispy Kreme’s fall menu include a new Maple Cheesecake Doughnut, Cafe Mocha Doughnut and Apple Crisp Latte, as well as the return of fan favorites like the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Biscoff Cookie Butter Doughnut and Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut.

• Tuesday, Sept. 29: Enjoy a free small or medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase. Limit one per guest.
• Saturday, Sept. 26 through Tuesday, Sept. 29: Get a dozen Original Glazed Coffee Flavored Doughnuts for $5 when you purchase another dozen at regular price. Limit two per guest in-shop and drive-thru and one per guest via the Krispy Kreme mobile app for pickup or delivery with the promo code “COFFEE.”
