Are you looking for a fun, family friendly activity this weekend? Grab your kids and get the fun rolling at your local bowling alley on Aug. 13, National Bowling Day.

There’s a good chance you may be able to hit the lanes for free — or at least at a discounted rate. Here’s how you can score the best bowling deals this weekend:

  • Bowlmor AMF. Bowlmor AMF — which also includes Brunswick Zone, Brunswick Zone XO, Brunswick’s, Bowlmor and Bowlero — is offering a free game of bowling from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 13, at any of the 300-plus bowling centers operated by Bowlmor AMF. You can also take part in contests, giveaways, and food and drink specials from 8 to 10 p.m. on National Bowling Day. Click here to find a participating bowling alley near you.
  • GoBowling.com. Click here to print a coupon for a free game of bowling between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at participating bowling centers. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the alley on National Bowling Day — the coupon is good through Aug. 31.
  • Punch Bowl Social. You can score $5 bowling (including shoes) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all Punch Bowl Social locations on National Bowling Day. The centers are also featuring White Russian specials and showings of “The Big Lebowski” all day.
  • Kids Bowl Free. Call your local bowling center or click here to see if your bowling alley is participating in the Kids Bowl Free program. It allows parents to register their kids so they can take advantage of two free games of bowling every day, all summer long.

You can also call your local bowling alley to see if it’s offering any freebies or specials in honor of National Bowling Day.
