Costco members who shop through Costco Next can buy products directly from Costco’s suppliers and still enjoy exclusive discounts.
Products available through the Costco Next website — which is separate from Costco’s main site — include those from household names and luxury brands.
Currently, more than 60 brands are available through Costco Next, up from 22 brands in 2021.
They include Anker electronics, Briggs & Riley luggage (which we cite in “10 Indestructible Products That Are Worth the Price“), Butter London cosmetics, Dearfoams slippers, Green Pan cookware, Lorex home security, Mikasa dinnerware, Thomas Kinkade Studios artwork and Zwilling kitchenware — just to name a few.
Costco’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, Richard Galanti, mentioned on a recent quarterly earnings call that Costco Next is still growing:
“[W]e continue to onboard additional [suppliers] in many product areas, from home improvement to apparel, to pet, to home and kitchen, to electronics and accessories, to sports and bicycles and toys, and the like.”
If you want to take advantage of the program, Costco explains how to do it step by step at the Costco Next website. There you also can click on “Brands by Name” for a complete list of all participating suppliers in alphabetical order.
Just remember that you must be a Costco member first. Also, if you’re an executive member, be aware that purchases made through Costco Next do not qualify for Costco’s executive benefits, so you won’t earn 2% rewards on these purchases.
Costco Next discounts are one reason to love the retailer. You can find more examples of what makes Costco so popular in “9 Reasons People Are so Obsessed With Costco.”
