Restaurant.com sells printable gift certificates for less than their face value, allowing you to enjoy a meal out without paying full menu prices. By using them, you can reduce your total bill by as much as 50 percent — or more during promotions like Christmas in July.
While this might sound too good to be true, the eateries that partner with Restaurant.com are willing to offer gift certificates at a discount as a way to help market themselves to a larger potential customer base.
The gift certificates also often have terms, which are clearly noted on Restaurant.com. For example, a participating restaurant may require you to purchase a certain amount of food to redeem a certificate.
