Nissan North America is recalling more than 50,000 vehicles, according to a notice on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website.
Nissan is issuing the recall due to a software error in the combination meter that may cause the screen display to go partially or fully blank, according to the NHTSA recall report. Because of this, the vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety standards.
As of May 14, Nissan was not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the recall. Between Oct. 27, 2004, and April 14, 2026, Nissan received seven technical reports and 205 warranty claims for the issue.
The recall was submitted shortly after Nissan filed a separate recall for select 2025 Frontier and Kicks vehicles for a center information display unit that may turn blank when the car is shifted into reverse. This recall affects 79,755 vehicles.
