Amazon is rolling out a slew of new grocery savings for Prime members, including a new private-label brand, Amazon Saver.
Amazon Saver will feature items such as crackers, cookies, canned fruit and condiments. Most products are priced under $5, and Prime members get an extra 10% off the price.
Products are being introduced under the brand now. Eventually, there will be more than 100 Amazon Saver items.
Savings will also increase for Prime members who use Amazon Fresh either in store or online. Prime members already save 10% on Amazon Fresh purchases, but now they will have new opportunities to save on more than 3,000 items.
According to Amazon, savings include:
- Up to 50% off eight to 15 grocery favorites that rotate weekly
- 25% off over 1,200 rotating Prime-exclusive grocery and household items
- 10% off more than 1,700 products from Amazon private-label brands, including Aplenty, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Kitchen, 365 by Whole Foods Market, Happy Belly and Amazon Saver
The Amazon Fresh online storefront has also gotten a makeover. Amazon says it has simplified the storefront to create a “clean, intuitive browsing experience.”
The new navigation is intended to make it easier to jump between categories with an aisle-by-aisle approach that mimics shopping in a physical store.
