Free access to national parks for military families — ongoing

As of this past Veterans Day — Nov. 11 — all Gold Star families and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces now get free entrance to national parks.

Admission is to national parks, wildlife refuges and other federal lands managed by the Department of the Interior. Lands and waters managed by the USDA Forest Service and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers also participate in the program. Learn more.
