If you’re a bargain hunter, you’ll love Dollar Tree. The chain’s price point is $1.25 for most items and $3 or $5 for just about everything else (although a $7 price point is in the works).
From household items and pet supplies to storage solutions and more, you’ll find at least a few items that can save you money when you roll your cart down the aisles of this popular chain.
Even if you’re an old hand at scouring Dollar Tree aisles, you’re probably always on the lookout for new items off the truck. Lucky for you, we’ve done the footwork to root out new arrivals at Dollar Tree so you don’t miss them. I visited multiple stores in my area for this article.
Maple-leaf floral stems
Price: $1.25
Liven up your home this autumn with these 15-inch maple-leaf floral stems. At only $1.25 per bunch, you could buy enough of this faux fall foliage to decorate several rooms to bring color and creativity to your home this season.
Rubber-backed door mat
Price: $5 each
I bought one of these Assorted Patterned Rubber-Backed Door Mats for my back door to catch dirt and mud from dog paws and shoes. I was surprised at the quality of this mat, especially when similar ones can cost several times this affordable price. These are perfect for the garage, mud room or even the front door.
Kids’ headphones
Price: $5
These 2Boom Tie Dye Print Kids’ Headphones come in pink or blue tie-dye. They’re lightweight, with an adjustable headband and cushioned ear pads.
I listened to some music and a news story with these headphones to sample sound quality. They’re not noise-canceling or high quality, but that doesn’t mean your kids or grandkids won’t like them for music, games and online learning. The volume doesn’t rise to ear-damaging levels, either, which is better for children’s hearing health.
Flexible plastic tubs with handles
Price: $1.25 each
These Ribbed Plastic Buckets with Handles come in three colors, according to the Dollar Tree website, but I found them at my local stores in a variety of colors.
Use these lightweight (1-ounce) buckets for storing or organizing art supplies, toys, holiday decorations, pet toys or whatever use comes to mind. They are roughly 12 inches deep.
Charger plates
Price: $1.25 each
These 13-inch Silver Plastic Charging Plates with Beaded Rims aren’t to be used for food but are ideal for place settings, candle displays or any number of holiday decorative uses. These plates are pretty, sturdy and a great deal for a just over a dollar each.
The silver color is a new arrival, but Dollar Tree sells charger plates in various other colors online, and I found the same plate in red at a local store.
Wood crafting boxes
Price: $1.25 each
Crafter’s Square Wood Boxes comes in three sizes, with the largest measuring about 5.5 by 5.5 inches and 1.8 inches deep. Use them for craft supplies, trinkets, office supplies, bathroom organizers and more.
Is plain wood too bland for your taste? You can paint these boxes to add a pop of color to your organizing and storage needs.
Plywood hanging DIY signs
Price: $1.25 each
Why spend money on a fancy sign displaying someone else’s sentiment when you can come up with your own? These Plywood Hanging DIY Signs are a blank slate for your creativity to bring them to life this fall and holiday season.
Available in a square or a circle shape, these signs are roughly 1/8 inch thick and roughly 12 inches in height and length.
Printed sentiment kitchen towels

You can never have too many dish or tea towels, and Dollar Tree’s Home Collection Printed Sentiment Kitchen Towels are a decent quality. They’re 100% cotton with a terry cloth backing, and each bears a humorous or encouraging sentiment.
Hang them in your kitchen to cheer up the space, give them as gifts, or use them to dry dishes or swipe away crumbs. These towels are a bargain no matter how you use them.
Sheet wallpaper
Price: $1.25 each
West Coast Branch and Swede Dreams (both pictured) are two of the newest patterns of 11-by-16-inch peel-and-stick wallpaper from Dollar Tree. Use this paper to decorate walls, kitchen cabinet shelves, linen closet and pantry shelves, drawers and more.
Other new patterns include Magic and Whimsy, which features butterflies, and Earthy Feels, which is a stone-like pattern.
Scented candle
Price: $1.25 each
Dollar Tree’s new scent in its line of candles in frosted glass jars with wooden lids is called Healing. The store I visited was out of it, but I found the Energize scent from the same line, which is pictured above.
All the scents in this line measure roughly 3 inches tall and 3 inches wide, making them perfect for the bathroom or any corner of your home that could use a touch of scent and coziness.
