Americans are getting more hopeful that a post-pandemic era is approaching, and that likely means more travel. Southwest Airlines may tempt you back to air travel with one-way fares as low as $49.
The fares — which are available through 11:59 p.m. CT on March 19 — are good for travel during the period of March 30 to June 30, 2021.
The airline notes that seats, days and markets are limited and that both blackout dates and 21-day advance purchase requirements apply.
One-way nonstop fares being advertised are as low as:
- $49 between Houston and New Orleans
- $49 between Denver and Steamboat Springs
- $49 between Palm Springs and Oakland, California
- $67 Baltimore/Washington, D.C., and New York City
- $99 between Houston and Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida
Southwest is the rare airline that does not charge change fees (although fare difference may apply) or cancellation fees. In addition, you are not charged for your first and second checked bags, although bag weight and size limits apply.
