This $55 Costco Membership Deal Throws in $80 in Cash and Savings

If you’ve ever thought about joining Costco, this might be all you need to finally take the plunge.

LivingSocial is offering its customers a $55 Costco membership deal to attract new shoppers to the popular warehouse club. The deal not only gets you a one-year Gold Star Costco membership (value of $55) and one complimentary card for a member of your household, but you also receive $78.93 in savings at Costco, including:

  • $20 Costco Cash card.
  • Coupons for a free 72-pack of AA batteries ($18.99 value), organic tortilla chips ($4.99 value) and food court pizza ($9.95 value).
  • $25 off a minimum $250 order at Costco.com.

The coupons expire on Aug. 31.

Keep in mind that this offer only works for new Costco members or former Costco members whose membership expired before Oct. 1, 2015. So if you’re already a Costco member, sorry, this deal is not for you.
