Looking to breeze through airport security on your next vacation? TSA PreCheck just launched a limited-time offer that will save you money when signing up with family or friends.
Through Oct. 31, you can get a price break when two people sign up for TSA PreCheck together at the same location on the same day.
The discount is available through either of two authorized enrollment providers, CLEAR or IDEMIA. TSA’s other authorized provider, Telos, does not offer the discount.
The first person pays the full price to enroll in TSA PreCheck and the other gets $15 off. That means the cost for that second traveler is $61.75 with IDEMIA (down from $76.75) and $64.95 with CLEAR (down from $79.95).
The beauty of this deal? You don’t need to prove you’re related. Just show up together, enroll at the same time, and ask for the “family discount.”
Bigger groups multiply the benefits. For example, a group of four would pocket $30 in total savings, as two people in the group would each save $15.
This offer is only available to people enrolling in TSA PreCheck for the first time, though, not those renewing their membership.
The TSA PreCheck program speeds up the process of getting through airport security. TSA says that 99% of members wait less than 10 minutes.
The program can be especially valuable for families with children aged 17 and under.
Kids aged 12 and under automatically qualify when traveling with an enrolled parent. Teens aged 13 to 17 need to be on the same reservation as the PreCheck member to get the PreCheck indicator on their boarding pass.
In addition, recent rule changes in the program promise to speed up your airport experience, possibly making PreCheck even more attractive, as we reported in “3 TSA Rules That Have Changed in 2025 (So Far).”
If you have been on the fence about TSA PreCheck, this deal might be the perfect reason to finally sign up. For more about saving on membership, check out “4 Groups Who Now Get TSA PreCheck for Free.”
