Wawa is recalling some of its beverages sold in five states over the presence of an undeclared allergen.
The popular gas station is recalling certain 16-ounce beverages that were sold in five states, according to notice posted by the Food and Drug Administration, over concerns the “drinks may contain an undeclared milk allergen.”
“The recalled products have been removed from sale and disposed of by impacted stores,” the notice on the FDA’s website said.
Wawa, in a notice posted to its website, said “the health and safety of our customers is a top priority,” and that it “has strong food safety and quality assurance programs in place throughout the company to ensure that we’re protecting the health and safety of our customers.”
The company added that while “no illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem,” it has “removed this product from sales at all of the impacted stores and activated this recall.”

What Drinks Is Wawa Recalling?
Wawa said the “recall was initiated after Wawa identified and corrected a temporary equipment issue that may have resulted in the presence of an undeclared milk allergen in these products.” The following 16-ounce bottles are being recalled, according to the notice:
- Iced Tea Lemon – UPC: 726191018425, Code Date: May 15, 2026
- Iced Diet Tea Lemon – UPC: 726191018548, Code Date: May 18, 2026
- Diet Lemonade – UPC: 726191055901, Code Date: May 18, 2026
- Fruit Punch – UPC: 726191018432, Code Date: May 19, 2026
What States Were the Recalled Wawa Drinks Sold In?
The recalled products were sold in the following states, according to the notice:
- Pennsylvania
- Delaware
- Maryland
- New Jersey
- Virginia
The notice added the recall does not impact any other Wawa-branded beverages and is only limited to the states listed. No other Wawa stores in any other state are included in the recall, the notice said.
What Should Customers Who Purchased Wawa Drinks Do?
The recall notice urged those who purchased these products “to dispose of them immediately” and to contact Wawa with questions or to request a refund in the form of a Wawa gift card.
