If you want to smell like a fast-food burger, without the hassle of working in a fast-food joint, you’re in luck. Burger King’s new Whopper-scented fragrance can make your fantasy a reality.
Of course, there’s a catch: only 1,000 bottles of the flame-grilled burger scent will be sold for just one day in Japan, the London Evening Standard said.
The limited edition burger perfume will sell for 5,000 yen (about $41.79) on April 1. Burger King said it’s not a hoax, even though it’s being sold on April Fool’s Day, the Evening Standard noted.
Apparently April 1 is also Whopper Day (who knew?!), MTV reports.
The meat-scented fragrance will come with a free Whopper.
I worked at a movie theater in high school and was always fighting the popcorn smell that clung to my hair and clothes, so I can’t imagine wanting to walk around smelling like a burger — though I’d be super popular with my two dogs. But, to each his own.
