Halloween will come early this year for fans of freebies.

Three chains with stores across the country — Babies R Us, Bass Pro Shops and PetSmart — have scheduled free Halloween events that kick off Saturday.

So if you’re looking to treat your favorite kid, grandkid, pet, grandpet or perhaps just yourself to some free fun, here’s what you’ll find in store.

Baby’s First Halloween at Babies R Us

This event will include crafts, giveaways and raffles. It will be on one day only: Saturday, Oct. 21, from 11 a.m. to noon.

You can find a location near you as well as reserve a spot at the event online.

Great Pumpkin Celebration at Bass Pro Shops

Bass Pro Shops is offering hours worth of free fun during this event, including:

  • Free crafts and games for kids
  • A Halloween costume parade (with participants receiving an unnamed free giveaway)
  • Trick-or-treating
  • A free 4-by-6-inch photo with Peanuts cartoon characters

This event will take place on seven days: Oct. 21-22 and Oct. 27-31. Visit the schedule of events webpage on the retailer’s site for the hours — they vary — as well as the specific craft that will be offered each day.

According to the fine print, this event is unavailable at the Islamorada, Florida, location. You can use Bass Pro Shops’ store locator to search for other locations. The retailer has 82 stores across the U.S. and Canada.

Halloween Spooktacular at PetSmart

This event promises multiple freebies for “pet parents” — including a pet collar safety light and coupons.

Humans are also encouraged to dress up their pets in “their Halloween best” for a photo with PetSmart’s mascot, Chance the dog.

The Halloween Spooktacular will be on Saturdays Oct. 21 and Oct. 28, from noon to 3 p.m. local time both days.

You can use PetSmart’s store locator to find a location near you. Then click on “see store details and events” next to a particular location to see if that location will host this event.
