Amazon is offering a deal on its Prime Student program that makes the program a lot more affordable for college students.

Students can get a free trial membership of Prime Student for six months. Once the trial ends, they can continue the service for just $5.49 a month — a 50 percent savings off the normal price. Or, you can save even more by paying an annual fee of $49.

Benefits of Prime Student include:

  • Free two-day shipping on more than 50 million items
  • Free streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows
  • Exclusive college deals

To qualify for this deal, you must be enrolled in a two-year or four-year college in the U.S. When signing up, you also need to provide an “.edu” email address or other documentation.
