Looking for some relief from inflation? BJ’s Gas is offering fuel for as little as 1 cent per gallon.
BJ’s members can take advantage of this deal by purchasing “fuel saver” items at the retailer. For each item you buy, you save 10 cents per gallon the next time you fill up within a 30-day period.
The first fuel saver item you purchase triggers the start of the 30-day period. The offer is good through Sept. 22.
You can shop for fuel saver items at the BJ’s website. BJ’s also provides a long list of all items that will help you qualify for the fuel discount.
You can use your savings on a fill-up of $99 or 40 gallons, whichever comes first.
Any fuel saver discounts you earn go to zero — and unused discounts disappear — with each new fuel purchase. Or, they will simply expire after 30 days.
Fuel discounts are limited to a purchase price of at least 1 cent per gallon. For example, if gas is selling for $3.00 per gallon, then your maximum discount is capped at $2.99 per gallon.
You cannot transfer your discounts, and purchases through third parties — such as DoorDash and Instacart — are not eligible.
BJ’s has more than 200 locations in 21 states. However, if you don’t live in a state with a store — or simply don’t want to pay for a membership — there are still other ways to cut your fuel costs.
