Spring returns on Tuesday, March 20, and Rita’s and Dairy Queen are celebrating again this year with two can’t-miss offers.

Each year, Rita’s marks the arrival of spring by giving away a free Italian ice to every guest. In 2017, the chain gave away nearly 1 million cups in a mere nine hours. Get your free treat between noon and 9 p.m.

In addition, participating Dairy Queen locations are giving away free vanilla soft-serve cones.

Participating locations also will collect donations for local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In 2017, more than $300,000 was given to local hospitals as part of the promotion.

Note that Dairy Queen says its free-cone promotion is good only at “participating non-mall Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill locations.”
