There are few better ways to spend a summer day than relaxing with an ice-cold glass of tea, especially if the tea is free.
McAlister’s Deli wants to help you beat the heat today, July 21, by giving you a free glass of its famous sweet tea for #FreeTeaDay2016. There’s no coupon or purchase necessary. All you need to do is head to your nearest McAlister’s and ask for a free tea. It’s as simple as that.
McAlister’s isn’t skimping on the tea either. You’ll get a free 32-ounce sweet tea to enjoy during McAlister’s eighth-annual free tea day. Click here to find a McAlister’s near you. (Most of the Matthews, North Carolina-based deli chain locations are clustered in the Southeast and south-central U.S. states, though there is one as far west as Twin Falls, Idaho.)
If you live in (or near) Charlotte, North Carolina, you not only have the opportunity to score a free iced tea today, but you may get a chance to meet and be served by members of the Charlotte Hornets basketball team.
According to a press release, Frank Kaminsky, center for the Hornets, will be serving up free iced tea at two Charlotte McAlister’s locations on Thursday and Michael Kidd Gilchrist, small forward for the Hornets, plans to surprise diners at a third McAlister’s restaurant in South Charlotte.
