Circle K’s National Fuel Day is Thursday, May 7 — the day the gas station gives customers 40 cents off per gallon between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Members of the chain’s Inner Circle loyalty program can start earlier, from 12 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The National Fuel Day comes as gas prices skyrocket, with Nevadans paying on average $5.56 per gallon in Washoe County and $5.29 in Clark County, according to AAA.
The discounts apply to all types of gas and are applied directly at the pump.
Circle K is also offering Inner Circle members the chance to win one of 250 Circle K gift cards, each worth $315, as part of the company’s Fuel Your Summer Sweepstakes. Winners will be selected weekly through July 4. For more information and to enter, go to the Circle K website.
Circle K offers National Fuel Day price reductions throughout the year, often ahead of driving holidays such as Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving.
You can find participating Las Vegas locations at circlek.com/store-locator. Expect long lines, based on Circle K’s previous National Fuel Days.
Circle K Events for America 250 Celebration
The events are part of Circle K’s celebration of the nation’s 250th birthday. Also part of the promotion are:
- $2.50 budget car washes
- $2.50 meal deals: a Roller Grill item paired with a Polar Pop or 7.5-ounce Coca-Cola brand beverage
Both deals are good all summer long.
“America only turns 250 once, but our commitment to delivering real value for our customers is every day,” said Louise Warner, Circle K’s executive vice president, North America operations, in a news release. “At Circle K, every visit counts, and this summer, we’re showing up with real, tangible savings across fuel, food and more to make every stop a little more affordable for the people who count on us.”
How to Find Participating Circle K Locations
Pahrump and the Las Vegas metropolitan area are the only places in Nevada with Circle K stores, with 51 locations total in the state, according to the company’s website. For Nevadans traveling into the Golden State, there are 412 Circle K stores in California, according to data site ScrapeHero.
The company suggests checking your local locations at circlek.com/inner-circle-fuel-day for participation and availability.
