Free brand-name lip gloss, anyone? How about lipstick or mascara for well over 50 percent off?
Coupons.com issued three new high-value CoverGirl coupons this week
These printable coupons are worth a total of $10 in savings — but they can actually help you save a lot more if you combine them with other discounts such as sales and price matches. We’ll break it down for you.
First, the coupons:
- $4 off one CoverGirl Blast or Blast Pro mascara, excluding trial/travel sizes. Nine mascara products are part of CoverGirl’s “Blast” collection, according to the company’s website.
- $4 off one CoverGirl Colorlicious lip product, excluding trial/travel sizes. Five lip products are part of CoverGirl’s “Colorlicious” collection, according to the website.
- $2 off one CoverGirl Star Wars Super Sizer Mascara Regular or Waterproof, excluding trial/travel sizes. These two products are the only two mascaras that are part of CoverGirl’s “Star Wars” collection, according to the website.
You can find these coupons by visiting Coupons.com. Under the “Categories” menu, select “Personal Care.” Then, just print the coupons you want to use.
If you’ve never printed from Coupons.com before, check out “Coupons.com Releases March Savings — but Get Them Soon” for more technical details.
Once you’ve printed the coupons you want, head to the nearest store, redeem them and save. Or, you can “stack” the coupons with other discounts and save even more.
Sales
For example, CoverGirl products are on sale at CVS this week — buy one, get one half off. In other words, if you buy one CoverGirl product at full price, you’ll get 50 percent off a second product of equal or lesser value.
So if you purchase two products for which coupons are available, combining the sale with the coupons, you can save well over 50 percent.
Price matching
As we detailed in “Target and Walmart Price-Match Policies Save Me $2 to $20 Almost Every Time I Shop,” Target stores will match the prices of Target.com.
Currently, Target.com is selling CoverGirl Colorlicious Lip Gloss in the colors “Pinkalicious” for $2.89 and “Succulent Citrus” for $2.74. So with the $4 Colorlicious coupon, you can walk into any Target store today and get one of those two colors for free, assuming the colors are in stock at your local store.
Even the most expensive color is $5.99 online, though, so you would not pay more than $1.99 for any given color.
The Colorlicious Lipstick and Colorlicious Lip Lava Lip Gloss would also cost $1.99.
