More than 120,000 cases of Gatorade sold across 37 states have been recalled after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said the drinks contained undeclared food coloring that could pose a risk to some consumers.

The recall, classified by the FDA as a Class II recall on Oct. 2, includes 122,021 cases of 28-ounce bottles of Gatorade Lemon Lime, Gatorade Lemon Lime Zero, Gatorade Orange and Gatorade Orange Zero. PepsiCo initiated the recall on Sept. 25 because the products contain unlisted Yellow No. 5 and/or Yellow No. 6 food coloring.

The FDA says a Class II recall involves a product that may cause temporary or medically reversible health consequences, or where the chance of serious consequences is remote.
