Tuesday, Nov. 3 is National Sandwich Day and restaurant chains across the country are celebrating by offering deals and discounts.
Not to be confused with National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day, which occurs on Nov. 9, National Sandwich Day has something for everyone, regardless of if your go-to is a peanut butter and jelly or a Philly cheesesteak.
Subway, Jersey Mike’s and Potbelly are among a handful of the national chains offering sandwich deals, but some discounts may require you to be a member of the restaurant’s rewards program. And don’t forget to check your favorite local spots for a promotion, as well.
Here’s where you can score some deals and discounts in honor of National Sandwich Day this year.
National Sandwich Day 2026 Deals
Jimmy John’s offers BOGO deal for JJ Rewards members
Jimmy John’s is offering JJ Rewards members a buy one, get one free deal when they order on the Jimmy John’s website or app using promo code “SANDWICH” on Nov. 3, the company told USA TODAY.
The offer applies to eligible 8-inch originals, favorites, toasted sandwiches excluding brisket, plain slims, Little Johns and wraps.
Subway also offers BOGO deal on National Sandwich Day
Subway announced in an Oct. 21 news release it had moved its National Sandwich Day celebration to Tuesday, Oct. 27 since Nov. 3 is Election Day. The chain’s deal for the day, however, actually extends from Oct. 27 through Nov. 8.
The company is offering a free footlong sandwich with the purchase of another footlong sandwich for all current and new Sub Club members on app and online orders.
To celebrate National Sandwich Day, the chain has brought back its popular Fritos Enchilada Sub, last offered in 2014, and its Caramel Apple Cookie, last offered in 2021, both for a limited time.
Potbelly gets in on the BOGO action on National Sandwich Day
On Nov. 3, Potbelly customers who purchase any big or original-sized sandwich or wrap can receive a free original size sandwich or app when ordering through Potbelly.com or the Potbelly app using promo code “BOGO.”
Jersey Mike’s offers free delivery on National Sandwich Day
Jersey Mike’s is offering customers free delivery on Nov. 3, the company told USA TODAY. The deal is available on the Jersey Mike’s app or online with a $5 minimum order and is applied automatically at checkout, so no promo code is required.
Firehouse Sub customers can get a free medium sub with purchase
On Nov. 3, Firehouse Subs customers who spend $15 or more can score a free medium sub when ordering through the Firehouse Subs app or online.
Pepsi partners with DoorDash for 2-day deal in honor of National Sandwich Day
Pepsi has partnered with DoorDash to offer customers $15 off DoorDash orders of $25 or more with the purchase of a Pepsi beverage on Nov. 3 and 4.
Here’s how customers can redeem the offer:
- Visit DoorDash.com or the DoorDash app and choose a participating local restaurant
- Add a 16oz or fountain Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew or MUG to your cart, with a subtotal of $25 or more before taxes and fees
- Enter that day’s Pepsi promo code at checkout and make sure the $15 discount applies before placing your order
- Nov 3 code: PEPSI15OFF
- Nov 4 code: 15OFFPEPSI
- Limit one redemption per customer at participating locations, while supplies last. Fees, taxes and gratuity still apply.
Schlotzsky’s offers $5 medium sandwiches for National Sandwich Day
Schlotzsky’s Rewards Members can get medium sandwiches for just $5 from Oct. 31 through Nov. 3, the company told USA TODAY.
Rewards members can redeem the deal on up to 10 sandwiches in a single order.
7-Eleven offers deal on grab-and-go sandwiches
7-Eleven is offering customers a refreshing deal for loyalty members at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes locations.
7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can purchase any qualifying market or deli sandwich and add a 20-ounce Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Pepsi or Mountain Dew beverage for just $1 on Nov. 3.
Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop offers National Sandwich Day deal
On Nov. 3, Capriotti’s Rewards members can enjoy a buy one, get one 50% off deal on all subs.
The offer is only valid for one day and can be redeemed at checkout when ordering in-shop, online or through the Capriotti’s app.
