Buffalo Wild Wings is now vying for your lunch-break business by promising a meal that’s either fast or free.
The national sports bar and restaurant chain announced a new 15-minute lunch guarantee Wednesday.
The promise that your lunch order will reach your table within 15 minutes or be on the house is “designed to show time-strapped guests that they don’t have to sacrifice quality, value or variety for speed at lunch time,” according to the announcement.
The guarantee is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. It applies to customers who dine in with parties of up to six people and order from the Fast Break lunch menu.
Your server will start a timer upon leaving your table and stop the timer when your food is brought to you. If that takes longer than 15 minutes, you get the whole meal plus a fountain soda for free.
Todd Kronebusch, vice president of food and beverage for Buffalo Wild Wings, explains:
“Our standard was already to deliver Fast Break meals within 15 minutes, but the new guarantee adds a promise to our guests and some fun, friendly competition.”
The announcement states that the 15-minute lunch guarantee is available for a limited time but does not specify how long. It is available across nearly 900 U.S. restaurants.
