Monday’s Money Deals: Furniture, Office Supplies and Free Photo Albums

This week, we can help you shave bucks off the prices on furniture, clothing, office supplies, and some sports gear.

Target.com is currently offering 20 percent off their furniture with coupon code ZHI9SYVO. This includes but is not limited to clearance items, which we’ve handily linked to. Orders of more than $50 qualify for free shipping, too.

Over at Sears, you can save $10 off $20 or more in clothing with a printable coupon. This works on clearance stuff, too, and a lot of stores are still clearing out from the end of summer. The coupon unfortunately excludes Levi’s brand jeans, and it expires on Oct. 23.

Office Depot’s got a printable coupon for $10 off $20 on “technology, furniture, and more,” too. Make sure you use the one on the right, which expires on Nov. 20 – the other one’s already dead. It’s not valid at outlet stores, or on HP-brand printer ink. If you’ve got a Staples closer than an Office Depot, they often accept competitor coupons, so give it a shot. Remember that you have to spend $20 before tax for the coupon to kick in – so a $19.99 item will require a pack of gum or something similar for the savings.

Speaking of Staples, check out their deals of the day for next week: 100 DVD-Rs for $10 on Oct. 23 is a steal. Some of those deals are online only, while others are good in-store, too. Just check the details.

Interested in soccer or tennis? Amazon.com has 40 percent off soccer gear and 60 percent off tennis gear. One of these days, I’d love to hear how they decide what to put on sale.

T.G.I. Friday’s always seems to have a decent coupon in effect: Here’s one for 25 percent off your bill good through Oct. 23. It unfortunately doesn’t include drinks, alcoholic or otherwise.

Due for a new pair of eyeglasses? EyeBuyDirect.com is running a buy one, get one free deal at prices already much cheaper than LensCrafters or Pearle Vision. But there are two obvious catches: You can’t try them on and you need to know your vision prescription.

Let’s wrap up with a couple freebies. Through Oct. 25, you can order a free 20-page printed photo book from Picaboo. This normally goes for about $40, but you just have to pay $8.99 for shipping. Here’s how it works: You can dump your favorite digital photos into their software, and it’ll put together a pretty memento album for you, or you can take a little time and design the pages yourself. I ordered one myself last time they ran this deal, and they’re really professional quality. Makes a great gift for family, too.

Lastly, have you carved your pumpkin yet? If not, check out these free printable Halloween stencils from Better Homes and Gardens. Designs range from the simple (goofy faces) to the impressive (cats, dogs, and spiders in webs). For more tips on Halloween savings, check out Don’t Be Afraid to Save on Halloween. And remember to check back next week for more deals!
