3 Restaurants Offering Free Root Beer Floats on Tuesday

Tuesday is National Root Beer Float Day, and with it comes a chance to enjoy the cool treat for free.

Following are a few fast-food chains that will be offering free floats on Tuesday. You just might want to call ahead to the locations near you to confirm they are participating in these offers before you head out the door.

A&W Restaurants

The root beer float is A&W’s signature treat, and its restaurants will be giving away free small floats from 2 to 8 p.m. local time on Tuesday. No purchase is necessary, although A&W is encouraging donations to the nonprofit Disabled American Veterans in conjunction with this freebie.

A&W has almost 600 restaurants across the United States. Visit the chain’s “Find a Location” webpage to search for ones near you.

Hamburger Stand

Get a free root beer float with any purchase at these restaurants Tuesday by using the printable coupon available on the Hamburger Stand website.

Wienerschnitzel

Get a free root beer float with any purchase at one of these restaurants Tuesday by using the printable coupon available on Wienerschnitzel’s website.
