
Former President Donald Trump will return to that job in January, which will make him the first president in more than a century to serve nonconsecutive terms.
The day after Trump’s election, stocks rocketed higher. It’s impossible to say for sure whether the two events are tied together, but the market’s performance on Nov. 6 marked its best day since late 2022.
Millions of people throughout the U.S. and around the globe saw their net worth grow thanks to the rally, and that includes a number of billionaires, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Here are the rich folks who got richer — and who might want to send Trump a holiday card with their thanks.
Elon Musk
