So you’ve watched everything on Netflix (or you’ve been cut off from using your mom’s password), now what? Maybe it’s time to jump into another TV stream.

Here are streaming TV alternatives to Netflix that carry exclusive original content you may not have seen before.

In most cases, they cost a little less than Netflix per month, and none of them have a password-sharing crackdown policy (yet).

1. Paramount+ does drama

($7.99-$12.99/month or $59.99-$119.99/year)

If you like the gritty drama of cable’s “Yellowstone,” Paramount+ is building a universe of like-minded shows from writer/director Taylor Sheridan, including prequels “1883” and “1923” (with Harrison Ford) and present-day crime series “Mayor of Kingstown” (starring Jeremy Renner) and “Tulsa King” (starring Sylvester Stallone).

Paramount+ also carries live sports (including the NFL and NCAA) and local CBS channels. Plus, its new plan with SHOWTIME (Paramount+ With SHOWTIME) for $12.99 is quite the deal for tons of content.

2. Peacock has the LOL comedies

($7.99-$13.99/month or $79.99-$139.99/year)

Besides being the only place where you can stream iconic NBC comedies like “The Office,” “Parks and Recreation” and “30 Rock,” Peacock also produces its own original comedies.

“Poker Face” (starring Natasha Lyonne and created by Rian Johnson of “Knives Out”), Peacock’s breakout hit, is preceded by hilarious exclusives like “A.P. Bio,” “Killing It” and “We Are Lady Parts.”

3. Prime Video has movies and originals

($8.99-$14.99/month or $139.00/year)

Prime Video’s biggest claim to streaming fame is the comedy “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” but the service that conveniently comes with your Amazon Prime membership has plenty of other originals, including new musical drama “Daisy Jones & The Six” (starring Riley Keough).

In addition to a growing slate of originals, Prime Video also carries over 25,000 new and older movies.

4. Disney+ is for kids and adults

($9.99-$15.99/month or $159.99/year as of Oct. 17, 2024)

Star Wars, Marvel, “The Simpsons” — Disney+ is all about the stuff you grew up on (and continue to love today).

Disney+ may be mostly for kids, but there’s also plenty for adults, like the tense Star Wars series “Andor,” the out-there Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) show “WandaVision” and R-rated superhero fare like “Deadpool” and “Logan” (check those parental control boxes).

You can also bundle Disney+ with Hulu and ESPN+ for one of the best combo deals in streaming for $16.99 or $26.99 a month (as of Oct. 17, 2024).
