The benefits of wholesale clubs often don’t stop at affordable food — and BJ’s is no exception.
There are a number of perks available to BJ’s members, just as there are for Costco and Sam's Club members. Even better is when these perks are totally free.
Are you using them fully to your advantage?
1. Curbside pickup
Avoid spending your limited free time in the grocery store and skip delivery service fees with curbside pickup.
BJ’s members can place their orders online, park outside and have their groceries placed right in their trunks. Orders must be more than $50 to qualify for free curbside pickup. Orders under $50 have to pay a $3.99 fee.
Club+ members and BJ’s One+ Mastercard cardholders get free pickup on all their orders, however.
2. Same-day deliveries
BJ’s gives its Club+ and One+ members two free same-day deliveries per annual membership period. Orders must be at least $50 after discounts and before taxes and fees to qualify.
3. Tire maintenance
Buy and install your tires through a BJ’s Tire Center and receive free tire maintenance such as free rotations and flat repairs. BJ’s sells Michelin, Goodyear and more.
4. Shipping
Certain items can be shipped to your home for free — although BJ’s doesn’t provide a general statement on what kind of products may qualify. They do specify that glasses qualify for free shipping.
Shipping differs from delivery as it comes from a fulfillment warehouse rather than a local store.
5. Technical support
BJ’s freely provides Tech Advisors for members. The advisors will assist with setup, troubleshooting, product comparisons and more. They’re available for varying hours every day of the week.
6. Second membership
BJ’s members can share their benefits through a free second membership. This allows members to add a second account to their primary one, but the recipient must be a household member.
