American Airlines will suspend their daily flights from Pittsburgh International Airport to Los Angeles in late summer through early autumn, according to a spokesperson for the airport.

The decision comes amidst negotiations between the U.S. and Iran, with the Strait of Hormuz remaining mostly blocked to maritime traffic, according to Reuters.
