Starbucks Announces Return of Viral Bearista Cup, New Winter Drinks

Starbucks is bringing back one of its viral cups alongside drinks and treats for the upcoming holiday season.

The coffee chain announced its 2026 winter holiday menu on Oct. 5. Most of the new drinks, food and merchandise will be available starting Nov. 5, including a new Tiramisu Velvet drink line and an apple-pomegranate refresher.

But the return of the Bearista Glass Cold Cup may be the most anticipated item. The 20-ounce glass cup is shaped like a teddy bear wearing a green Starbucks stocking cap and comes with a green straw. Last year, it sold for about $30 and, according to Starbucks, sold out in less than a day. As of Oct. 5, the company had not announced when this year’s cup would be available.

The holiday menu announcement comes about two weeks after Starbucks closed approximately 250 locations across North America. Chief Operating Officer Mike Grams said in a public letter that the closures were due to store underperformance.

What Starbucks Is Adding to Its Winter Menu

New drinks include:

  • Tiramisu Velvet Latte, available hot or iced and topped with velvet mascarpone cold foam and cocoa and coffee dusting
  • Tiramisu Velvet Cold Brew
  • Apple Pomegranate Refresher, with apple flavors and pomegranate-flavored pearls
  • Snowy Apple Pomegranate Refresher, made with coconut milk

Returning drinks include Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Sugar Cookie Latte and Gingerbread Chai.

New food items include Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese and a Turkey & Stuffing Sandwich with a new recipe. Returning items include the Cranberry Bliss Bar, Snowman Cookie and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish.

When the Menu and Bearista Cup Will Be Available

Starbucks’ 2026 winter holiday menu is scheduled to arrive Thursday, Nov. 5. As of Oct. 5, the company had not announced the return date for the Bearista Glass Cold Cup. Last year, the cups reached stores on Nov. 6.

“The excitement for our merchandise exceeded even our biggest expectations and despite shipping more Bearista cups to coffeehouses than almost any other merchandise item this holiday season, the Bearista cup and some other items sold out fast,” Starbucks said in a statement last November.

The chain also released a soccer-themed Bearista cup in June for the World Cup and a Pink Bearista cup in July. Starbucks previously told USA TODAY the Pink Bearista cups sold out by 7 a.m. local time on release day. A Snoopy Glass Cold Cup with a similar look also sold out quickly after its September release.

More Seasonal Starbucks Merchandise

Other seasonal merchandise arriving in November includes:

  • Peppermint Mocha collection, with cold cups, tumblers and espresso cups, available Nov. 5
