These Adults-Only Carnival Cruises Are Exclusive. What to Know.

Carnival Cruise Line welcomes guests of all ages on board, but there’s a way to book adults-only sailings. You’ll need an invitation, though.

The cruise recently added four new Sailings Exclusively for Adults (SEA) aboard its Carnival Firenze vessel. The cruises will sail from Long Beach, California, between Oct. 12 and Nov. 20, with a mix of Mexican Riviera ports, the cruise line told USA TODAY.

Carnival will operate a total of 22 SEA cruises in 2026, including on its Carnival Conquest, Carnival Dream and Carnival Glory ships with departures currently available from Miami and Port Canaveral in Florida and Singapore, along with Long Beach.

“SEA Cruises are designed to offer a more relaxed, adults‑only atmosphere with elevated dining, entertainment, and onboard experiences,” Carnival said in an email. “Carnival Firenze will also expand SEA Cruise options on the West Coast.”

The itineraries, which were first offered in 2025, also include themed parties, greater casino access and more, according to the company’s website. Passengers must be 21 or older.

However, travelers can’t book them like just any other cruise. The voyages are billed as “invite-only.”

“If you qualify, you’ll receive your SEA Cruise invitation directly in your inbox,” a landing page reads, with a link to view individual offers. “(You’ll also be able to find it in your personalized offers.) This grants you access to explore an exclusive selection of eligible sailings.”

Carnival declined to share details about how invitations are distributed or starting prices, but noted that it continues “to see strong demand for these cruises, and they do sell out quickly.”
