A popular restaurant chain known for fine dining is offering a deal that’s almost too good to be true.

Perry’s Steakhouse and Grille is offering its Flashback Friday deal on Friday, Oct. 2. Customers can choose between its Pork Chop Friday Lunch or the Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich for just 79 cents.

The deal is available to the first 200 dine-in guests at each location.

Where Is the 79-Cent Deal Available?

The promotion is available at nearly every Perry’s location. The only location excluded is in Friendswood, Texas.

Which Menu Items Are Included?

Both the Pork Chop Friday Lunch and the Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich are part of the chain’s Friday lunch menu, usually served from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET at most locations.

The Pork Chop Friday Lunch comes with potatoes, applesauce and bread. It usually costs about $24 at lunch and $49 to $50 on the regular dinner menu.

The Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich comes with fries and horseradish cream. It is usually about $29 and is typically offered only during Friday lunch.

How Does the Deal Work?

Guests must dine in and be at least 21. The first 200 people in line at each location receive a special card: 100 for the pork chop lunch and 100 for the sandwich. Cards are distributed first come, first served, while supplies last, according to the chain’s news release.

Why Is the Price 79 Cents?

Perry’s has offered the deal before, and it often draws long lines. The 79-cent price represents the year the chain began, 1979. Perry’s has locations in several states, with the most in Texas.
