Thousands of TV Episodes, Movies Now Free to Watch on YouTube

If you love to binge-watch TV series, YouTube has great news for you: full seasons of your favorite shows for free.

In a blog post, the website says 4,000 episodes of popular shows now are available at no cost for those who are willing to sit through ads. Shows that YouTube mentions include “Hell’s Kitchen,” “Andromeda” and “Heartland.”

YouTube also says it has more than 1,500 movies available for free with ads. Titles are available from studios such as:

  • Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution
  • Warner Bros.
  • Paramount Pictures
  • Lionsgate
  • FilmRise

Each week, YouTube plans to introduce up to 100 new titles.

You can watch on a web browser, mobile device or internet-connected TV with the YouTube on TV app. Many of the videos are available in high-definition 1080p with 5.1 surround sound audio.

YouTube also is introducing new streamlined navigation menus to help viewers find their favorite shows more easily.
