Wednesday Deals: Men’s Clothing, Bath & Body Works, Sony HDTV, and Free Amtrak Tickets

Tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo and Sunday is Mother’s Day, so let’s get right to the shopping-worthy savings…

Food

It may be our only food deal this time, but a free Smokey Bones entree with the purchase of another is a steal [ends Thursday, May 5].

Clothing

For guys, almost everything is buy-one-get-one-half-off at Men’s Wearhouse. For guys and gals who are getting ready for summer, tops, shorts, and swimwear are 50 percent off at Aeropostale. It’s not clear when either deal ends, though, so don’t delay.

Electronics

If you’re still not sure what to get mom for Mother’s Day, the plum-colored Nikon S4100 Coolpix camera bundle is only $150 at CircuitCity.com [ends today, May 4]. That’s more than half off the list price. Plus, since it’s a bundle, that price includes a case and strap, a battery and battery charger, a memory card, and cables.

If you’re thinking ahead toward Father’s Day on June 21 – or if mom enjoys TV more than photography – the Sony 46-inch Bravia series LCD HDTV is only $900 at Sears [ends Thursday, May 5]. That’s $400 less than usual, and you can have it delivered or pick it up from your local store if it’s available there.

Et cetera

At Bath & Body Works stores, pick up a free travel-size Signature Collection item with every purchase [ends today, May 4]. Online, 37 different Bath & Body Works items are up to 50 percent off while supplies last.

For guys, Gillette is giving away free Fusion ProGlide razors while they last. Visit their Facebook page to learn more.

If you’re traveling by train soon, kids ride free on Amtrak when accompanied by an adult passenger. You just have to book by Friday, May 6, and travel by June 9.

If you’re worried about snoring on the train, Brez is handing out free trial packs of their breathing aids.

And as always, check out our Deals page if you run out of coupons or didn’t find any useful ones here. And if money’s tight this Mother’s Day, check out Michael Koretzky’s recent story 10 Mothers Day Gifts for Less Than $10.
