If you’re all about speed, then there are some great deals on new 5G phones this month from both Sprint and Verizon — the only carriers to offer true 5G cellphone plans. If you’re not lucky enough to be located in one of the 5G cities, there are still other great deals on both newer and older cellphones from carriers like Metro by T-Mobile and Cricket Wireless.

FREE LG phone from Cricket

If you don’t want to be paying hundreds for a new phone, then don’t pay anything at all! For a limited time, Cricket is giving away a new LG Fortune 2 for free when you switch to an eligible Cricket plan from your current carrier. All you need to do is sign up for a Cricket plan (minimum $55/month) and port your current phone number in. This phone may not be one of the newest out there, but it’s still a solid phone with an 8MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, and 5-inch HD display.

Note: Current AT&T customers are not eligible for this deal.

2 FREE phones + 2 lines of unlimited data for $80/month

If you need a plan for you and your partner, then Metro has one of the best deals around right now. Simply port two non-T-Mobile numbers to Metro and get two Samsung Galaxy J7 Star phones for free when each line signs up for Metro’s $50 Unlimited Plan. Plus, for a limited time, get both lines for just $80/month total! That’s a savings of $20/month plus $478 in savings on phones. The only catch is you’ll have to visit a Metro store in person to get this deal.

Free iPhone XR from Sprint

Have an old iPhone? Trade it in to Sprint and lease a new iPhone XR for free! Any iPhone 6s or newer can be traded in to get this awesome discount, and you also have to add a new line of service to Sprint to be eligible. Your discount will be applied as billing credits within two bills. That’s more than $550 in value, which is almost unheard of. Usually when you trade in a working iPhone 7, you’re only going to get a couple hundred dollars in credit back (if that).

Pre-order the LG V50 ThinQ from Sprint

If you live in Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston or Kansas City, then you’re in luck. Sprint has 5G coverage in those cities right now, so you could be one of the first to experience Sprint’s blazing fast 5G network. But you’ll need a 5G phone first. Sprint’s first 5G-ready phone, the LG V50 ThinQ, is now available for pre-order and was scheduled to ship by the end of this month. With this phone in hand and Sprint’s Unlimited Premium plan, you’ll be fully equipped to enjoy 5G speeds right from the palm of your hand.

Up to $650 off a Samsung Galaxy S10 5G and free 5G access

If you want to be ready for 5G, then Verizon has multiple deals for you. First, get up to $450 in credit when you trade in an eligible phone and sign up for an unlimited plan. Next, get a $200 prepaid Mastercard when you enter the promo code GS105G on Verizon’s rebate site. That’s already up to $650 in value, but Verizon isn’t stopping there. If you live in a Verizon 5G city (Chicago or Minneapolis), then you’ll be able to enjoy 5G mobile data for free! Usually priced at $10/month on top of the price of your Verizon unlimited plan, Verizon is currently offering 5G access for the regular price of a phone plan.

Not in Chicago or Minneapolis? You can still buy this Samsung 5G phone from Verizon while you wait for 5G to become available in your city.
